Good morning today is Monday, January 25, 2021
The lunch menu for today is - Students will have the choice of a Warm Pretzel with Cheese or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. Students will also receive Celery with Peanut Butter, Assorted Fruit and Milk.
Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.
Our value word for the week is: Loyalty - a feeling of strong support for someone or something
Mario Puzo once said, “Loyalty is the strongest glue which makes a relationship last for a life time.”
If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. Instead Woodlands Students say something like, “I really enjoyed the competition, and I look forward to playing against you again,” or “Good Game,” or don’t say anything at all. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard anyway. You really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. Woodlands Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
There are many items in the lost and found. Please stop and claim items that you are missing.

Send pictures of your work and then revisit the virtual Gallery throughout the winter to find new additions. All ages can participate. Love cooking? Register to pick up one of our Teen Cooking Challenge Kits from the Library next Wednesday, January 27 from 4 - 5 pm. This kit features a special Smore's treat. Visit our website or call the Library to register.
Friday, January 29 is Puzzle Day! Fill out a Curbside form to choose either an adult puzzle or a children's puzzle to keep FOREVER (seriously, you don't have to return them)! Each puzzle will be delivered through our Curbside Pickup service.
