Huron High School
Announcements - Tuesday, February 23, 2021
1. Seniors - A representative from Jostens will be here TODAY during
lunches to take cap/gown and any other graduation orders.
Class rings can also be ordered if anyone is interested.
We have a few extra order forms in the high school office.
2. The Huron swim teams competed at the District swim meet in Bowling Green on Friday recording many "best" times. Although no swimmers advanced to the State Meet, there were two school records set. Allison Dieter broke an 18-year old record in the 200 yard Individual Medley and Granthem Brown broke his own record in the 500 yard Freestyle. On Thursday divers Joey Lenczyk and Max Wasiniak compete for the State Championship in Canton.
3. The National Honor Society's clothing drive is continuing this week to
help out those in need in our community. They are collecting hats,
gloves, blankets, gently worn winter coats and/or clothing. Donations
can be placed in the boxes located in your first period class or in the
office.
4. Reminder to Seniors - the Huron Local Scholarships are due by March 8th. Please contact the School Counseling Office if you have any questions.
5. There is a sign up sheet in the main office for those interested in
Boys Tennis. Tennis season will begin on March 8th. If you have any
questions please see Mr. Camella.
