1. ONCE AGAIN…..
--Masks must be properly worn over the mouth and nose at all times every day while at school.
--Proper social distancing/Covid rules still apply and must be followed….including the one way hallways.  
--Charged Chromebooks and Chargers must be brought to school every day.  
--Cell Phones are NOT to be used during the day unless a teacher gives you permission in the classroom.  Cell phones are to be kept in your backpack or phone pockets in the classroom…NOT in your clothing pockets.  Cell phones are NOT to be used in the hallways or restrooms.  Students observed using a cell phone during school hours will be required to immediately surrender their phone.   Failure to comply will be considered insubordination and will be subject to discipline.

2. 8th Graders, please fill out your course request sheets and have them signed by your parent or guardian as soon as possible. Ms. Kopa will be calling each one of you down to go over them!

3. Reminder: There is no school on Monday, March 22.

4. Attention McCormick Junior Honor Society:
-All Introductions are due today. Please share with Mrs. Aber via Google or print it out.
-Sam Toldy, I need your own bio for introductions, too.
-The Induction is next Wednesday, March 24, at 5pm. You may have 2 guests attend.
-We will have a brief meeting Tuesday during 7th and then 8th grade study hall to      go over procedures for the Induction the next day. Don't make Mrs. Aber hunt you down; plan to be at the meeting during Tuesday Study Hall.
-There are still 3 inductees who have not responded, even after Mrs. Aber met with you earlier this week.  Are you planning to be inducted?

5. Friday, March 26, marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period. Fees need to be paid, overdue library books need to be returned, uniforms returned, etc.

6. 2020-2021 Yearbook order forms have been handed out. Orders can be placed by returning the form with payment to Mr. Maleski or order online at JOSTENSYEARBOOKS.COM. Orders must be submitted by March 31, 2021.

7. Are you and your parents taking extra time off during Spring Break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

8. LUNCH MENU: today-Cheese Pizza or Bosco Sticks, Tuesday-Hamburger Gravy & Mashed Potatoes

9. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
The Huron Public Library is open! Please visit huronlibrary.org to find current safety regulations and services being offered, as well as temporary operating hours. Masks must be worn properly in the building. Welcome back!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS/PHOTOGRAPHERS: Share your artwork or photography in our Online Community Art Gallery at huronlibrary.org. Visit the Library's virtual Gallery space to view art and photography shared by your community, then share your own by emailing photos to [email protected]. All ages can participate.

The Library is collecting nonperishable, unexpired food items for our Pay It Forward Food Drive to give to the Huron Food Pantry. If you have food items at home that you'd like to donate, visit the Library and find our drop-off box located near the entrance.

Tweens can still register to pick up a STEAM Team on the GO Kit from the Library on Wednesday, March 24. This kit features some cool experiments involving Cereal Science. Register on our website or call the Library.

Make a spring or Easter paper wreath with the next Take & Make Craft Kit for teens and adults. Register on our website today to pick up a kit on Friday, March 26.
