1. Attention National Honor Society members: Our first meeting of this
year is today in the Union after school. Please plan on
attending.
2. Seniors don't forget to apply for The Elks Student of the Month scholarship in the Counseling office.
3.
Kalahari will be here on Tuesday during lunches. If you are interested
in learning about jobs at Kalahari, stop by their table.
4. The Varsity Football team is looking for someone to join their camera
crew for the 2019 season for games and practices. This person will
receive an All-Sports Pass for the 2019-2020 school year and free meals
on Thursday and Friday nights during the season. Please see Coach
Hohler if you are interested in helping us out.
5. Attention Jrs. & Srs. - the 49
th Annual BGSU Firelands College Night Program on
Tuesday,September 10th from 6:00pm- 7:30pm, conveniently located on BGSU Firelands campus in the
Cedar Point Center.
This event is free and open to the public and is recommended that
juniors and seniors attend with their families. Questions? Contact BGSU

6. Any student interested in joining the yearbook staff,
please come to an informational meeting in Mrs. Lee's room (216)
immediately after school on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Specifically, the yearbook needs
help with taking photos of activities within the school during the
year, gathering information, and providing write-ups of sports and
activities.
7. News from the Huron Public Library:
Dungeons & Dragons - If you've always wondered how to play this game- or if you
already play and are looking to meet new players- come to the Huron
Public Library today at 4 pm.
No registration is necessary.
If you are more into less involved games, Matt Morgan from the Hero Zone
will be leading Game Night on Tuesday, September 10, beginning at 6
pm. This session will feature the cross-train adventure game: Ticket to
Ride.
A quick reminder to our Battle of the Books participants: There will be a practice session on Thursday, September 12 at 4:30 pm.

8. Seniors - Please log into Naviance and complete the HHS Brag sheet.
Stop in the Counseling office and sign up for your individual senior
meeting. Plan for about 30-45 minutes.
Also Seniors log into your Naviance account to schedule
a time for upcoming college visits and also the new scholarship
opportunities that have been added.
