1. The first school dance is TODAY, from 2:45 to 4:30. It's Peace, Love and Friendship, a 70s Dance, so come with your tie-dye and hippie-style clothing if you like, but it's not required. There will be juice and cookies and a DJ playing tunes from then and now. Tickets will be sold for $6.00 at lunch.

2. Ticket sellers today: during 8th lunch – Jadyn Towns and Ryan Sas and during 7th grade lunch – Annabelle Fisher and Casey Brown

3. HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS
Don’t forget your gallon of Lemonade or Punch and 3 dozen cookies for the dance.

4. Reminder to students walking to the Library, Gathering Grounds, or other destinations after school: Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not cut through yards. Please use the sidewalks and go around the block.

5. Reminder that students must be at school by 7:59 in order to participate in extracurricular activities that day unless a doctor’s excuse is presented.

6. On Monday, September 9th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures. Please bring your completed form with payment on picture day to give to the photographer. You can also prepay for pictures online. Picture forms were handed out on the first day of school. There are extra forms in the office.

7. Students are reminded to turn in the paperwork that was mailed home: Vaccination records for 7th grade and the green Student-Parent signature handbook paper for all students.

8. Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams who defeated Port Clinton last night in their first game of the season!

9. At the Huron Public Library:
It's the moment you've all been waiting for: Dungeons & Dragons is finally cool! If you've always wondered how to play this game- or if you already play and are looking to meet new players- come to the Huron Public Library this Monday, September 9 at 4 pm. No registration is necessary.

If you are more into less involved games, Matt Morgan from the Hero Zone will be leading Game Night this Tuesday, September 10 beginning at 6 pm. This session will feature the cross-train adventure game: Ticket to Ride.

A quick reminder to our Battle of the Books participants: There will be a practice session on Thursday, September 12 at 4:30 pm.
