1. There will be an informational meeting at the High School Student Union at 7:30pm TODAY for those interested in swimming. Students and Parents are to attend.

2. Ripcho Studios will be here October 16th for picture retakes. If you were absent on picture day in September, plan to have your picture taken. If you did not like your pictures, bring the pictures with you on October 16th to give to the photographer so you may have your picture re-taken.

3. There will be a quick meeting in the auditorium Wednesday during study hall for any student interested in the Power of the Pen writing club. If you have questions, see Mrs. Aber.

4. The children’s butterfly garden project is hosting a weeding party this Wednesday, Oct 2nd, 3:45 - 5pm at the children’s butterfly garden at Woodlands. Garden supplies, refreshments and community service hours will be provided.

5. The office has order forms available if you would like to order a Crucial Catch t-shirt for the “pink out” home football game versus Oak Harbor on October 11th. Orders are due to Lucky Stone TODAY. Huron Tigers Football team apparel order forms are in the office as well.

6. Forms are available in the office if interested in the Mini Flag and Tigerette Camp 2019. Camp dates are October 7th – October 10th with a performance at the football game on October 11th. Forms are due by October 2nd.

7. Students who plan to attend the St. Peter retreat: Your permission form must be turned in to our office prior to the absence. All absences must be approved so that your tests and homework may be made up. You are responsible for making up all missed work.

8. Parent Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, October 8th from 3:00pm-6:00pm and Thursday, October 17th from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Parents are reminded to call the office to schedule a conference time.

9. This week at the Huron Public Library:
October is Teen Celebration Month! In honor of this celebration, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area of the Library. The first week of October features board games and card games!

What's that you say? You want to know about more gaming opportunities at the Library? Game Night is TODAY at 6:00pm. This Game Night session features the award-winning Betrayal at House on the Hill. In this game, players build and explore a haunted house piece by piece, until one player become the traitor. For ages 12 and up.

Euchre Night is Wednesday, October 2nd at 6:30pm. Stop by the AV area to learn this fast-paced card game or to meet other players.

For those students registered for Girls Who Code Coding Club, the next meeting is Thursday, October 3rd from 4 - 5:30pm.

Finally, if you find yourself with nothing to do this Saturday, come by the Library and play some Chess from 10am - 12pm. No registration required.
