Announcements - Wednesday, October 21, 2020

1.  The boys and girls cross country teams competed in the SBC Championships on Saturday.  The girls finished 3rd and the boys repeated as SBC Champions.  Kennedy Schlessman and Jadyn Towns were first team all SBC with Kennedy finishing second in the race and Jadyn finishing 3rd.

Sal Sherer was the SBC Champion this year.  Earning First Team All SBC honors were Elijah Routh (3rd), Nick Pack (4th), Jacob Eck (Sixth), and Andew Scherley (8th).  
Earning Second Team honors were Connor Schuh, Aiden Kastor, and Trevor Poltorek
Congratulations to everyone!

2.  Congratulations to freshman Ryan Sas for winning the 2020-2021 yearbook cover design contest! Ryan wins a free yearbook! Thank you to everyone who submitted a design-- the yearbook will be featuring many of them within the pages of the yearbook.

3.  Any Freshmen, Sophomore, or Junior looking to run for Student Council this year, should stop by the high school office and pick up a petition. Petitions are due TODAY.  Just a reminder if you were in office last year you still need to file a petition and run.

4.  There is a sign up sheet in the high school office for boys and girls who are interested in bowling this year.  

5.  Attention any senior who did not get their senior pictures taken by Lifetouch: If you would like your headshot to be included in the yearbook, Lifetouch will be in the gym taking free senior portrait headshots on Tuesday, 10/27 and Friday, 10/30 from 7am-11am. Please plan accordingly!

6.  Volunteer opportunity:  
Saturday, Oct. 31 is the 6th annual Spooktacular 5k.  We are in need of volunteers (prefer groups of 2) to direct runners on our course. All volunteers will be required to wear masks and duties will be outside, so we ask that they dress for the elements.  Must be available from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the latest.  If interested, please contact Angie Edwards at 419-366-1563 (call or text welcome) or email [email protected].  Spots are limited.  

7.  Attention all students: the TLC class will be collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house. Bring your pop tabs into your fifth period class. The class that brings in the most will win a Halloween treat.
