Huron High School
Announcements - Thursday, September 3, 2020

1.  Attention seniors in good standing: You can apply to work the polls for Election Day on Tuesday, November 3.  If accepted, you would work a full day and need to miss school and activities.   However, you would make $115 for your training and work time.  Please see Mrs. Merckens in room 214 for more information and an application.

2.  If you ordered a 2019-2020 yearbook but haven't picked it up yet, stop by the office to grab your copy!

3. Please stop by outside the high school office and pick up paperwork if you are going to be needing a parking pass for this school year.  Every year you need to purchase a new car tag if you are going to be in the building more than 1 period a day. Tags are $5.

4.  Any Freshmen, Sophomore, or Junior looking to run for Student Council this year, should stop by the high school office window.  There are sign up sheets located on the outside window for you to leave your name, grade, and position desired.

5. Juniors & Seniors:  Please be sure to have your Study Hall release papers turned in to the high school office.  You will not be able to leave campus without that signed paper turned in.

6.  The SBC ticket voucher policy or method for away games is strictly pre-sale. Willard allows 2 per roster player/Varsity cheerleader. There will be no general admission tickets sold at their gate.

Any parent, or family member that attends the game must have a pre-sale ticket that was purchased at Huron High School. The cost of the ticket is $5.
Today tickets will be on sale in the office from 7:30 am till 2:30 pm. The ticket sale will then move to the Visitors side ticket booth at the stadium where they can be purchased from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Parents/family members can pull up, walk up to the ticket window, purchase their ticket and be on their way. The buyer will be asked for their name/player name so that name will then be crossed off the roster.

7.  Welcome back to school from the Huron Public Library!

The Library is currently closed to the public, but we are offering Curbside Pickup. Visit our website to order books, DVDs, or CDs and then drive or walk by the Library to pick them up. Note, there will be no Curbside Pickup on Monday, September 7 due to the Labor Day.

September's theme is pirates (ARGHHHH). Create a unique 10 - 60 second clip and send it to us by the end of the month for a chance to win prizes and be featured on our social media pages! Visit huronlibrary.org for more details.
