1. Are you interested in flying drones? STEAM Club is gearing up for a drone racing scrimmage on February 29. If you would like to try it out come to the next STEAM Club meeting! You will have the chance to observe, pilot, build, code, and repair different types of drones. We will be meeting EVERY WEDNESDAY in February from 2:45-4:15 in Mrs. James's room. There will be other options for students interested in 3D printing, coding, and various maker and art opportunities. All are welcome and bring a pal!

2. Parent-Teacher conferences are on February 25th from 3pm-6pm and on March 5th from 3pm-7pm. Parents should call the office to schedule a conference time.

3. Yearbook order forms have been handed out and e-mailed to parents. Yearbooks can be ordered online at jostensyearbooks.com or return the order form with payment to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown. Remember to order your yearbook by February 28th!

4. TODAY is the last day Student Council will be taking order for carnations. Carnations are $2 each and will be sold during both lunches. Selling carnations during 8th grade lunch today are Sam Toldy, Claire Daugherty, and Dan Toldy. Selling carnations during 7th grade lunch are Lanee Orzech, Casey Brown, and Drew Eck.

5. Mrs. James's PLTW students may bring headphones to class today.

6. Mrs. James's STEM Career students have the Engineering and Vocabulary quiz 8th period today.

7. February’s core value is Humility.

8. From the Huron Public Library:
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Huron Public Library is celebrating with Blind Date with a Book from now until Friday, February 14. Stop by and grab a book from our display! Each book will be wrapped to ensure complete secrecy with a short description on the tag. There are books for all ages!

The Library's last regularly scheduled Game Night for the winter session is on Tuesday, February 11th at 6pm and features the game Pandemic. In this game, diseases have broken out all over the world and players must work as specialists to contain the outbreaks. Will you be able to stop the plagues?

Finally, stop by the Library and say "Hi" on Friday, February 14th for our WE LOVE OUR PATRONS event. In honor of our amazing patrons, we will be setting out coffee and sweet treats all day.
