Announcements - Tuesday, 1/14/2020

1.  Congratulations to the following students that were nominated for the December Core Value of Discipline:  Luke Lagando, Bryce Nevison, Bella Fantozzi, Makenna Schafer, Drew Wennes, and Nick Staltaro.  All nominees should report to the office after announcements for their t-shirt.  A special congratulations to Makenna Schafer who was our winner and receives a four pack of tickets to Cedar Point for the 2020 season. This month's core value is Honesty and Integrity

2.  Seniors are reminded that all community service hours are due to the Guidance Office no later than THIS Friday, January 17th - the end of the first semester.

3.  Reminder to seniors:  If you have been active in sports or marching band, be sure you have turned in a PE Waiver to the Counseling office to ensure you have met graduation requirements.
 
4.  Reminder to ALL Juniors - The ACT will be administered at Firelands College on February 25th.  Students will be transported from HHS at 7:25am and return to HHS around 11:30am, at which time theta re excused for the day.

5.  Auditions for this year's Spring musical is "The Little Mermaid" will be today and tomorrow. Sign up sheets are posted on the choir room door. Please see Miss Jackson with any questions.

6.  All seniors, help support your male or female senior basketball player by purchasing a “I love Huron Basketball shirt”.  Forms are available for pick up in the office. Order forms need to be turned into Bennett’s by January 24th 2020.  Senior Night for girls basketball is January 31, 2020 and February 18, 2020 for boys basketball. 

7.  News from the Huron Public Library:

Chess and Euchre nights have combined this Wednesday, January 15, beginning at 6pm.  Stop by the library to learn these classic games or to improve your skills.

Interested in joining the Dungeons & Dragons Club?  Whether you're a seasoned player or even if you've never played before consider attending the next meeting on Monday, January 27, from 4-7pm.  Visit the Teen Services section of the library's website to register today!
