1. REMINDER: Items you should bring to school EVERY DAY - Chromebook and charger (should be kept in the laptop sleeve) and your mask!

2. Attention Student Council members, please report to Mrs. Rowen's room (207) during CNN news today.

3. The middle school swim teams traveled to Perkins High School for a dual meet with the Pirates. The girls team was defeated 118-51 but the boys countered with a 130-39 victory. Top performers for the Tigers were:

4. Wrestling practice is from 3:15-5:00 at the high school. Even if you didn’t sign up at the meeting you can still join.

5. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mrs. Carter can approve the absence.

6. Chemo Care Package items can be donated from November 11th to December 4th. Please bring in new and sealed items to your homeroom class for the kids who are sick with cancer at Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals! The winning homeroom class I each grade will have a reward before Christmas break!

8. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
The Huron Public Library is now reopened! We were temporarily closed for a week, but now we are back to a Limited Opening. For more details about what that actually means, please visit huronlibrary.org.

Reserve your own private Student Study Table at the Library from Monday through Friday during the week to do homework, browse for Library materials, listen to music, or just sit with your head down silently! Show us your own pumpkin spice latte skateboarding video or cover yourself in leaves and scare your neighbor! Teens in Grades 7 - 12 can put your TikTok skills to the test. November's TikTok theme is All Things Fall. Create your best 10 - 60 second clip and send it to us by the end of the month for a chance to win and be featured on our social media pages! 

Teens interested in making some changes in their town can join the Teen Library Council. Give us your ideas for programs and teen materials, and suggest some ways to make a difference in Huron. The next TLC meets on Monday, November 16 at 4 pm on Zoom.
