1. REMINDER: Items you should bring to school EVERY DAY - Chromebook and charger (should be kept in the laptop sleeve) and your mask!

2. As the holidays approach, Student Council is asking students and staff to help out those in need by participating in the 12 days of Kindness Counts. Each day, Student Council will be collecting a different item to donate to the Huron Helping Hands Food Pantry. Each item donated earns 1 point for your homeroom, and the winning 7th and 8th grade homeroom will receive a special treat. See your homeroom teacher for the list of the items being collected. On Tuesday, December 1st, please bring in a canned vegetable or a can of tuna.

3. Are you and your parents taking extra time off at Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mrs. Carter can approve the absence.

4. Chemo Care Package items can be donated through December 4th. Please bring in new and sealed items to your homeroom class for the kids who are sick with cancer at Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals! The winning homeroom class in each grade will have a reward before Christmas break!

5. LUNCH MENU: Tuesday-General Tso Chicken, Wednesday-General Tso Chicken, Thursday-Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, Friday-Bosco Sticks

6. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Due to safety concerns in Erie County, the Huron Public Library is back to Curbside Pickup. If you'd like to grab some Library materials, call the Library or visit our website to find out how to place items on hold and schedule your own pickup time.

You're never too old to get creative with LEGOs. Each month the Library collects photos of your fantastic LEGO creations to add to a seasonal collage on our website. Kindergarteners through Grade 6 can send us your LEGO pictures on Thursday, December 3.

The Library is now making Take & Make craft kits for teens and adults! On Friday, December 4, you can grab a kit to make a holly and buffalo plaid ornament to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Register to pick up your kit on our website!

This winter, the Library is also hosting Thursday Night Watch Parties LIVE on Facebook. Tune in to watch a free classic movie, chat with others, and learn some behind-the-scenes facts. The next Watch Party is at 5 pm on December 10 and features possibly the weirdest classic holiday movie: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

To check out more virtual winter programming at the Library, visit our website at huronlibrary.org or follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!
