- Girls basketball tryouts are this
week: 7th grade 3:00-4:30 and
8th grade 4:30-6:00. Questions – see Ms. Jackson or Ms. Cotton.
- Boys Basketball Open Gym: Wednesday Nov. 1st- 7th grade
boys 6:30 - 7:30 and 8th grade boys from 7:30 - 8:30
- Junior High Basketball Cheer Tryouts will be at Woodlands Today through Thursday, November 2nd. Please pick up the tryout packet in the office. All paperwork must be completed and turned in the first day of clinic.
- TODAY is the dance, with costumes, prizes, dancing and monstrous fun. Tickets are on sale during lunches for $5. If you just want to come to school in costume on Halloween but can't come to the dance, you can do that for $1. The Halloween dance will benefit our local food pantry and hurricane relief efforts.
- COSTUME DOS & DONTS: No masks, No body paint (except face paint)
and No weapons (real or fake). All other
dress code rules will apply.
- Today’s dance ticket
sellers during 8th grade lunch are Kegan Reyes, Marc Hurst and
Kelsey Obergefell. During 7th grade lunch, ticket sellers are Bella
Ray, Sophie Carson, and Mia Hurst.
- Student Council and MJHS members are
reminded to bring their cookies, punch and water today for the dance.
- Grade cards will be distributed this
Friday. Fees need to be paid, overdue
library books need to be returned, uniforms need to be retuned, etc., so that
your grade card is not withheld.
- This Friday, Social Worker, Sue Daugherty, will be here for our Future Friday’s presentation during study halls. Students are reminded to check in with homerooms and wait for the announcement to be called down to the auditorium.
- Locker decorations
from fall sports need to be removed from lockers and taken home by the end of
the day TODAY. Any locker decorations
remaining on the lockers will be disposed of by the custodians.
- Students that are interested in participating in the Coding Club should meet after school on Wednesday in Mrs. LaCrosse's Room. This is room 201. We will meet until 4:00 pm. Please make sure that you have a ride promptly at 4:00 pm. See you then!
- Be a part of the one
kind act movement at McCormick and in the city of Huron. Browse the one kind Act wall in the hallway
across from the office. You can choose a card, replace it with a signed smile
and change the world one kind Act at a time.
- Coach Adams will be here during study halls tomorrow to talk to students interested in wrestling this year.
