1. On Saturday, October 28th, St. Peter School is hosting the 3rd annual Spooktacular 5K and Kids Pumpkin Fun Run. All runners and walkers are welcome. Costumes are encouraged. There will be lots of food and prizes after the race.
2. 7th and 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be October 27th through November 3rd. Questions – see Ms. Jackson or Ms. Cotton.
3. Boys Basketball Open Gym:
--Monday Oct. 30th - 7th grade boys from 6:30 - 7:30 and 8th grade boys 7:30 - 8:30 (quick meeting at 7:15 for the 8th grade boys)
--Wednesday Nov. 1st- 7th grade boys 6:30 - 7:30 and 8th grade boys from 7:30 - 8:30
4. Junior High Basketball Cheer Tryouts will be at Woodlands on Tuesday, October 31st through Thursday, November 2nd. Please pick up the tryout packet in the office. All paperwork must be completed and turned in the first day of clinic.
5. Its coming…..October 31st is Halloween, and that's when McCormick will have its next dance, with costumes, prizes, dancing and monstrous fun. Ticket sales start today during lunches for $5. If you just want to come to school in costume on Halloween but can't come to the dance, you can do that for $1. The Halloween dance will benefit our local food pantry and hurricane relief efforts.
6. Today’s dance ticket sellers during 8th grade lunch are Luke Steuk, Alec Gresh and Tait Fischer. Ticket sellers during 7th grade lunch are Emily Franks, Maggie Golling and Alpana Kurtz.
Tomorrow’s ticket sellers during 8th grade lunch will be Abram Fortune, Danny Demos, and Andy Wostmann and during 7th grade lunch will be Ellee Foster, Elijah Routh and Bryce Nevison.
7. This Friday marks the end of the first quarter. Fees need to be paid, overdue library books returned, uniforms returned, etc. so that your grade card is not withheld.
8. Ripcho Studio will be here for picture retakes on Monday, October 30th at 10:45 (the beginning of 5th period). If you were absent on picture day in September, plan to have your picture taken. Order forms are available in the office if you need one. If you received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you to give to the photographer on October 30th so you can have your picture re-taken.
9. Power of the Pen will meet in Mrs. Aber’s room tomorrow after school until 3:30. All writers are welcome.
