1. NHS is sponsoring a canned food drive today through Friday, Dec. 1.
Please bring in quality non-perishable food (no Ramen noodles, please)
to your 1st Period class. The class with the highest per student
donation average will win a Donut party.
2. Den time will meet today after school until 3:30.
3. Lifetouch will be in to take Senior head shots for those not yet photographed by them on Wednesday, December 6, from 7am-11am.
4. A representaive from the US Air Force will be visiting HHS today @ 10am. If you would like to meet the representative you had to have signed up through Naviance.
5. Serving Our Seniors is looking for 2 choreographers to teach 5
firefighters and 5 law enforcement officers a SIMPLE dance routine. It
would require the students to hold practice 1 hour each Saturday, 9am – 10am, from January 1 through April 21 in the Sandusky or Perkins area. Please see Mrs. Bengele if interested.
6. New scholarship added to Naviance:
Christopher
G. Perrin - Award of $1,000 available to highly motivated students of
good character with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Please stop into the counseling
office for more information and an application.
7. Huron
Ski and Snowboard Club deadline is December 19. There will be a short
meeting Monday, December 18th in the cafeteria to collect forms and
answer any questions. This is a highly discounted program offered by
Brandywine Ski Resort for experts as well as beginners. The program
includes rental, lessons, plus value passes for your friends or family.
8. Lunch today is a pizza or meatball sub.
