1. Perkins Briar Middle School is hosting their 2nd Chess Tournament Saturday, March 16th. Doors open at 8:30am for registration. All area chess players in grades 3 through 12 are invited.

2. Students in grades 5 – 12 are invited to the Huron Public Library to participate in the yearly Chess Challenge on March 9th from 9am-5pm. Registration is required by March 2nd.

3. Students interested in playing baseball or softball through the Huron Baseball Softball Program, please pick up a registration packet in the office. Registration is on Sunday, March 3rd from 1pm – 4pm at the Huron Eagles Club.

4. Are you and your parents taking extra time off during Spring Break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

5. Next Wednesday the cafeteria will be offering something new and exciting. Fresh, hot Domino's pizza. Come and enjoy a slice or two for lunch.

6. A reminder for those 8th graders interested in playing football next year, Freshman Football Lifting Orientation Is tonight at 7pm for you and your parents at the Huron High School Cafeteria.

7. Reminder that TOMORROW, is a scheduled 2-hour delay start.
