1. Attention all Juniors planning to go on the class trip: first payment and permission slip is due this Thursday.2. Attention Freshmen: Your permissions slips for the Manufacturing Exploration Day are due today. Please turn the form into the
main office!
3. Attention Huron Seniors: Bowling Green is hosting a Financial Aid
Night tonight at Firelands College Campus in the Cedar Point
Center. The presentation will begin at 6:00 pm. Please join us for
important information regarding funding your college education.
4. The home football game this week against Vermilion is our 7th annual
Crucial Catch PINK OUT. Be sure to wear your PINK to the game in
support of the American Cancer Society.
Also, during lunches this week on Wednesday and Thursday, we will be
selling bandanas for $2.00 and bracelets for $1.00. Show your support,
bring your money, and wear your PINK this Friday to the game! Go
tigers!

Every night in the U.S., 600,000 people live on the streets. Our
very own Teen Leadership Corp class is participating in a nationwide
fundraiser known as SOCK-TOBER to collect NEW packaged socks for the
less fortunate. Giving something as simple as a pair of socks can
change someone's day. Starting next week you can turn in your socks to
your first period teacher. The winning class will receive a prize!
6. Attention CCP students: On Tuesday, October 30th, CCP advisors will be here to meet with ALL students wishing to take ONLINE
courses in the Spring. Students must sign up in the Counseling
office. Students planning to take courses on BGSU Firelands campus may
also sign up to meet with advisors here or schedule on their own with an
advisor on campus.
7. St. Peter School 5K Spooktacular and Kids Pumpkin Fun Run is
looking for volunteers for the October 27, 2018 race. If you are
interested in volunteering on the course or before or after the races,
please contact Mary James or Angie Edwards. Contact information is in
the office.
8. Teen Read Week at the Huron Public Library with
the theme "It's Written in the Stars" through Saturday, 10/13. Check out the special sci fi book
display, and receive an entry for the prize basket
drawing when you check anything out with your Library card. This is
only for grades 7 - 12.
Cosmic T Craft, Thursday, Oct. 11th, @ 6:30pm for grades 7 -
12. Bring in a plain dark t-shirt (navy or black) and create an out of
this world piece of wearable art. Registration required.
Teen Library Council meets Friday, October 12 at 3:30 pm. New members are welcome!
