7. A Gigantic Thank you to members of Junior Honor Society and Power of the Pen for sponsoring the Beach Bash Dance last Friday and helping it run so well. Equally, perhaps even bigger Thank You to the staff members who stayed on a Friday later afternoon to chaperone and keep everything chill and smooth: Mrs. LaCrosse, Miss Cotton, Mrs. James, Mrs. Brown - you are heroes and champs! Thanks to Mr. Carter for staying until the last dollar was counted and the last child picked up from the dance!

8. Power of the Pen is still open to students in both grades who like to write and or are interested in joining the ranks of Huron writers winning regional, district or even State wide-honors for McCormick.
