1. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving time or Christmas break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

2. Student Council would like to thank all students and staff who have already brought in canned goods. You may also bring in boxes of pasta, rice, mac and cheese, and peanut butter. All of these are staples that would last a while. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, so keep bringing them in. The winning homeroom will receive a treat as a thank you for your generosity.

3. Open Gym for softball is at Woodlands Gym from December 7th – February 17th. Information is in the office.

4. Attention 7th and 8th graders: Are you interested in attending a field trip to the Challenger Learning Center on January 11th with Mrs. LaCrosse? It's a field trip that is a mission simulation for NASA and a Mars Mission. There will be fun, hands-on learning and lunch at the center. Participation is limited to 30 students, and there is an $8 cost. So, if you are interested, stop by Mrs. LaCrosse, Mrs. James, or Mr. Sellers room for an application. Applications will only be accepted up to November 30th. Don't delay! This is open to 7th and 8th graders.

5. The girls and boys swim teams traveled to Sandusky on Saturday and came home with convincing victories. The girls won 103-57 while the boys triumphed 93-31. Top performers for the Tigers were: Kennedy Schlessman, Caja Boeseneilers, Kate Seibel, Alahna Wester, Kayla Denbesten, Lanee Orzech, Kendyll Williams, Mateo Oporto, Nolan Stockard, Gabe Schleenbaker, Michael Findley, Max Wasiniak, Granthem Brown, Jared Lenczyk and Will Parcher .
