2.  On March 24th we will be holding a fund raising Ice Cream Social at lunch time to support HHS and EHOVE student Maddie Hemingway.  Maddie is battling cancer and her family has incurred many expenses related to her treatment and the travel associated with numerous trips to the Clinic.

Anyone who would like to help may make a donation at any of the lunch periods on the 24th and in turn they will be given an ice cream sundae.  Please consider helping Maddie and her family on March 24th.

3.  The deadline to turn in two important items is April 1st, however, we will be on Spring break at that time so you must have these in by March 24th to meet the deadline.

College Credit Plus intent to participate forms - last year they were accepted late - there is NO late deadline allowance this year!

Credit Flex programs - If you are planning on participating, you must have your completed plan turned in to Mr Matheny by April 1st.  There is no late deadline for Credit Flex programs.

If you complete either item after we leave for Spring break on March 24th, they must be mailed and postmarked no later than April 1 to be accepted.

4.  Mr. Janik from BGSU Firelands announced yesterday that they will be hosting a College Credit Plus informational meeting on Wednesday, March 23 @ 6:00pm at BGSU Firelands in the Cedar Point Center auditorium. We just wanted to let you know of the additional opportunity to share with students who were unable to make it to your home school meetings or our EHOVE meeting.

5.  Cinderella's Closet is now taking appointments for their 6th annual prom dress shopping boutique day!  Are you planning on attending prom but the cost is holding you back?  Cinderella's Closet will assist young ladies with prom dresses and accessories at NO COST for those that do not have the financial means.  Please make your appointment today to reserve your date and time to shop.  See the flyers located outside the high school or guidance office for more information.

6.  Academic letter applications are now available in the high school office.  You must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 to apply.  The deadline to apply is
Thursday, March 24 (deadline changed due to Spring Break).  Please return forms to the high school office.

7.  Lunch today is General Tso chicken or a toasted Italian sub.  This week there will be no salad bar offered at lunchtime.
