2. There will be a final National Honor Society meeting for all Sophomores and Juniors this Monday, May 23,
after school in the library. We will be voting on by-law changes and
voting in next year's officers, so please be sure to attend. See Mrs.
Merckens with questions.
3. Attention any student interested in running cross country next fall.
There will be a brief meeting in Coach Blevins' classroom after school today. Please plan on attending.

Just a reminder there will be no more charging allowed in the cafeteria
for this school year. Mrs. Rosenberg asks that you please check on
your lunch balance, even if you haven't bought lately - this includes
seniors as there are 12 of you who owe money.

For anyone interested in Tigerettes - tryouts will be held on Tuesday, May 31 (5-7:30) and Wednesday, June 1 (9-12) in the high school band room.
6. Attention students seeking volunteer hours!
The Friends of the Huron Public Library are looking
for helping hands to set up and tear down their Book Sale at the Huron
Library. Volunteers would be asked to move boxes out of storage and
alphabetize or organize books according to subject.Volunteers are needed on Thursday, June 2 beginning at 9 AM and again on Monday, June 6 beginning at 9 AM.
There is a sign-up sheet for volunteers at the Huron Library, just ask
an employee at the circulation desktop sign-up.

Attention Class of 2017! For those current juniors who missed the
recent assembly given by our school's senior photographer, Prestige
Portraits, please visit the office and pick-up information about your
upcoming Senior Portraits and how to be included in your Senior
yearbook!

The annual Powderpuff football game will be held Friday night at the football stadium. Coaches and players should arrive by 5:30, and the game begins at 6:00. Admission is a $2 donation to help fund the Tiger Union library renovation. We hope you come out to watch!

If you are a student under the age of 18 and are planning on securing a
summer job, you will need a work permit. These are located outside the
high school office. There's a portion to be filled out by your parent,
the employer and on the back is where you need a physician's signature
stating you are able to perform the job. The physician's signature is
needed only if you DO NOT have a valid physical on file in the high
school office already. Once the form is completed, please drop that off
to the high school office. Usually the work permit (which you will
need to sign) will be ready for you that afternoon or the following
day. Please plan accordingly. Stop in with any questions.

Senior scholarship recipients are reminded - in order to have the
scholarship check sent to your respective college you will need to get a
copy of your bursar bill, college student id number as well as a copy
of the award letter to Mrs. Enderle. In order to print off your Bursar
bill you will have had to schedule classes. If you have any questions,
please
stop into the office.
