2. As you walk past the showcase today and tomorrow, please take a moment to look at the military display that pays tribute to our veterans. Today is Veterans Day, a day to honor all of those who have served the country in war or peace — dead or alive — although it’s largely intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifices. This morning there will be a Veterans Day assembly. To pay your respect to our military men and women, you are expected to pay attention and be courteous and respectful during that time.

3. Today’s bell schedule will be different due to the Veteran’s Day Assembly.

4. This Friday's Future Friday presenter is Huron Firefighter / Paramedic, Kurt Schafer. Come hear about this exciting career this Friday!

6. Are you an artist? Do you like drawing? If you would like to design the 2021-22 Yearbook cover, now is your chance! Using a regular piece of blank computer paper: 8 1/2 x 11 inches, draw your own original design in color. Write McCormick Junior High at the top, along with the current school year. Submit your drawing to either Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown by Friday, November 12.

7. If you are planning to take extra days off for Thanksgiving, a vacation form needs to be completed and turned into the office so Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

8. Monday, November 22nd, Ripcho Studios will be here for picture retakes. If you did not get your picture taken in September, please plan to get it taken. If you are not happy with your pictures, bring them with you on picture day to give to the photographer for retakes.
