1.  This year's Spring musical is "Mamma Mia". Auditions will be held January 10, 11, & 12. Audition packets are available to pick up in the High School office. Sign Up sheets will be posted on the Choir Room doors after we return from break. Please see Miss J 1st or 2nd period if you have any questions.

2.  Reminder to Seniors:  If you are trying to earn the Diploma of Distinction, your Community Service hours are due at the end of the first semester, Friday, January 14th.  

3.  For the 12th consecutive season, the Huron Tiger Football Program was recognized by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association as being Academic All-Ohio. Out of 700+ high school football teams in Ohio, Huron finished 13th this season. Congratulations to our students who work so hard in the classroom day in and day out! Also thank you to parents, teachers, coaches, and administrators for continuing to provide quality education at Huron High School.

4.  There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone playing football next season on Wednesday, 1/5, at 6:30PM in the HHS Cafeteria.  We will be lifting afterward in the weight room at 7PM and finished at 8:15PM.  Please see Coach Hohler beforehand if you have any questions.

5.  From the Huron Public Library:
Show off your art skills in miniature form with a Tiny Art Show kit from the Huron Public Library! Teens and adults can register to pick up an art kit containing everything you'll need to create your own mini masterpiece. Return your piece by Monday, February 28 so that we can open our miniature art gallery and put it on display this April. 

Kick off the New Year and pass on some kindness with the Kindness Campaign- Kindness All Around. From Monday, January 3 to Sunday, January 9, patrons of all ages can pick from an array of random acts of kindness from the display to help spread a little extra kindness in the community.

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, January 8 starting at 10 am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
