1. State testing is this week:
Tuesday and Wednesday for 7th and 8th grade Math
Friday for 8th grade Science.  
Students are reminded to bring your CHARGED Chromebook and charger with you and to report to your homerooms/testing areas on your testing days.  All testing will begin approximately at 7:40am, so please make sure that you get to class on time with your CHARGED Chromebook.  Reminder to Geometry students to report to McCormick on Friday.

2. Today and tomorrow during lunch, the High School National Honor Society will be selling bracelets for $1.00 to raise funds for The Giving Closet in honor of "Everyone’s Mom" Laurel Cooley.  The closet will include food, clothing and school supplies for student in need.

3. 7th graders interested in playing football next year: There will be an informational meeting during study hall on Thursday.

4. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Calling all poetry enthusiasts living or working in the 44839 zip code! Submissions for this year's 44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. If you completed a Tiny Art Show Kit in January, or if you just like looking at local art, you can stop by to view the full Tiny Art Show in the Library this April. Find the display in the main lobby and front entrance display case all month long.

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Sunday, April 24 starting at 1 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

Like volunteering? Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom on Monday, April 25 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Visit huronlibrary.org for all the details.

Mother's Day is on May 8 this year. Celebrate by making the mom in your life a mini embroidery with a Take & Make Craft Kit for Adults (and teens) from the Library. Register fast to secure your kit. Call the Library to register or find registration on huronlibrary.org.

If you're looking for a more fast-paced game join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, April 27 starting at 6 pm in the AV area of the Library. Learn the game or come for practice. Open to teens and adults.
