1.  Sign-up sheets for powder puff as well as a t-shirt order form are located in the high school office.   Powder puff will take place Thursday, May 19th. from 6-7pm.  You have through Friday (4/29) to sign up.

2.  Anyone interested in playing Boys Basketball there will be a short meeting after school on Thursday in the cafeteria to pass out paperwork and go over the Spring and Summer schedule. Please plan on attending.

3.  Petitions are available for 2022-23 Student Body President and Student Body VP. in the office or with Mrs. Sadowski.  Applicants must be a current junior and have one-year prior student council experience. 

4.  The National Honor Society is selling wristbands in honor of Everyone's Mom.  All proceeds will go towards creating a giving closet at our school. If you wish to purchase a wristband they are $1 each and you can purchase them during lunches or in Mrs. Arambula's room.

5.  Senior girls, The Huron Police Department has offered to teach a self defense course to any senior girl that is interested. This course should be lots of fun with skills that will help you as you venture out after high school.  Officer Lobsinger can give you further information if you have questions.  The class will be held on Thursday, May 5th, at 2:45 and should last about an hour or so.  Please sign up in Miss Kukay's classroom. This will be a hands-on class so please dress in comfortable activewear.

6.  Volunteer opportunity through Second Harvest Food Pantry.  There will be a food distribution at BGSU Firelands on Tuesday, May 10 from 4-5:30pm.  They are in need of 22 volunteers.  Sign-up information is posted outside the high school office.  Please consider helping out and earning some community service hours at the same time.

7.  Huron High’s 2022 after prom will be held at Kalahari’s water park from 12:30-3:30am. Tickets will be sold the week prior to prom. We are asking local businesses to consider a contribution. The donation sheets can be found in the school office. 

8.  From the Huron Public Library:
Calling all poetry enthusiasts living or working in the 44839 zip code! Submissions for this year's 44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. Find full rules for submission on huronlibrary.org.

Mother's Day is on May 8 this year.  Celebrate by making the mom in your life a mini embroidery with a Take & Make Craft Kit for adults (and teens) from the Library.  Register fast to secure your kit.  Call the Library to register or find registration on huronlibrary.org.

If you're looking for a more fast-paced game join fellow players for Euchre Night tonight starting at 6pm in the AV area of the Library.  Learn the game or come for practice.  Open to teens and adults.
