1. The end of the year dance is tonight from 6:00-8:00. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold during lunches today. Remember to turn in your “rules & expectations” form in order to purchase a ticket.

Lucia and Addison are selling tickets at 8th grade lunch and Rylee and Collette are selling tickets at 7th grade lunch.

2. 8th grade Student Council members should meet in Mrs. Rowen's room after school to set up for the dance.

3. Any 8th grade student running for Student Council for 9th grade should turn the form in to Mrs. Rowen by Monday.

4. Any 7th grade student running for Student Council should turn the form in to the office or to Mrs. Rowen by 3 pm Monday.

5. There will be an informational meeting for 8th graders interested in playing golf next year on Monday, May 23. Listen for the announcement to be called down.

6. The final STEAM Club meeting will be next Friday, May 27.

7. Did you forget to order a yearbook and would like to have one? Ask Mr. Maleski to put your name on the list for one of the extra copies. The cost is $25.00 and you will need to bring payment with you on the last day of school. If you have questions, see Mr. Maleski.

8. Lake Erie Adventure Company in Huron is offering students free paddling with an adult paddle purchase. Flyers are available in the office.

Want to get your poetry published? Submissions for this year's 44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. Ages 17 and under can participate with parent/guardian permission. Find full rules for submission on huronlibrary.org.

Check out a NEW Teen Book Box full of items to enhance your reading experience. Pick your book and then take it to the Circulation Desk to receive a box full of goodies associated with various parts of the story. The best part is, you return the book and the box and keep the rest! Find book selections in the YA area of the Library today. For Grades 9 - 12.

Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom on Monday, May 23 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Earn service or volunteer hours by participating. Current members and new members are both welcome. Visit huronlibrary.org for all the details.

Join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, May 25 starting at 6 pm in the AV area of the Library. Learn the game or come for practice. Open to teens and adults.
