1. The end of the year dance is Friday from 6:00-8:00. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold during lunches today and tomorrow. Remember to turn in your “rules & expectations” form in order to purchase a ticket. Remember you must be at school on time Friday, unless you have a medical excuse, in order to go to the dance.
2. Student Council members, remember to bring your water and lemonade by Friday morning
3. There will be an informational meeting for any seventh and eighth grade student interested in running cross country this fall during study hall today.
4. There will be an informational meeting for 8th graders interested in playing golf next year on Monday, May 23. Listen for the announcement to be called down.
5. The final STEAM Club meeting will be next Friday, May 27.
6. Did you forget to order a yearbook and would like to have one? Ask Mr. Maleski to put your name on the list for one of the extra copies. The cost is $25.00 and you will need to bring payment with you on the last day of school. If you have questions, see Mr. Maleski.
7. Lake Erie Adventure Company in Huron is offering students free paddling with an adult paddle purchase. Flyers are available in the office.

Want to get your poetry published? Submissions for this year's 44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. Ages 17 and under can participate with parent/guardian permission. Find full rules for submission on huronlibrary.org.
Play some Chess at the Library with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
Older students can also check out the Young Readers Club for readers in Grade 6 - 8. This month's book is Kingston and the Magician's Lost and Found by Rucker Moses & Theo Gangi. The next meeting is Wednesday, May 18 at 6 pm. Find all the monthly book club books at the main Circulation Desk at the Library.
