1. This is a reminder to all 8th graders. Student Council is taking orders for the Class of 2026 t-shirts. The last day to order a shirt is Friday April 22. See Mrs. Rowen if you need an order form.

2. Attention newly inducted Junior Honor Society Members, please check your school email for a link to join the Google Classroom for this organization. Please see Mrs. Rowen or Mr. Maleski if you have any questions.

3. This Friday, Mitchell Nikoli, Auto Tech at Ohio Tire Terminal, will be our future Friday’s presenter.

4. State testing is next week: Tuesday, April 26 and Wednesday, April 27 for 7th and 8th grade Math and Friday, April 29 for 8th grade Science. Students are reminded to bring your CHARGED Chromebook and charger with you and to report to your homerooms/testing areas on your testing days. All testing will begin approximately at 7:40am, so please make sure that you get to class on time with your CHARGED Chromebook. Reminder to Geometry students to report to McCormick on Friday.

5. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Calling all poetry enthusiasts living or working in the 44839 zip code! Submissions for this year's 44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. Find full rules for submission on huronlibrary.org.

Have you always wanted your books to be a little more...exciting? Check out a NEW Teen Book Box full of items to enhance your reading experience. Pick your book and then take it to the Circulation Desk to receive a box full of goodies associated with various parts of the story. The best part is, you return the book and the box and keep the rest! Find book selections in the YA area of the Library today. For Grades 9 - 12.

If you completed a Tiny Art Show Kit in January, or if you just like looking at local art, you can stop by to view the full Tiny Art Show in the Library this April. Find the display in the main lobby and front entrance display case all month long.

Older students can also check out the Young Readers Club for readers in Grade 6 - 8. This month's book is Kingston and the Magician's Lost and Found by Rucker Moses & Theo Gangi. The next meeting is Wednesday, April 20 at 6 pm. Find all the monthly book club books at the main Circulation Desk at the Library.

Play some Chess at the Library with chess master Paul Sherwood on Sunday, April 24 at 6 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
