1. Results from District track:
- Girls won District Championship and Boys were District runner-up
- School record 23 athletes in 20 events qualified for Regional Championships
- 7 district meet records set (High jump/long jump - Jaden Carey, High jump - Sean Kaminski, 4x100 & 4x200 relays - Beau Harkelroad, Andrew Delaney, Cooper Norwell, Conner Schaeffer, 800m - Kennedy Schlessman, and 4x400 relay - Maggie Golling, Hayden Roshong, Izzy Cozzie, & Kennedy Schlessman)
2. Powder Puff is Tuesday, May 24th, 6-7 pm. If you are interested in coming to watch, admission will be one item for the local food pantry.
3. There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone playing football next season on Thursday, May 26 at 7PM in the high school cafeteria. Please see Coach Hohler if you have any questions.

5. Purchases from Domino's on Tuesday, May 24th, will support the PTO, who directly fund numerous programs for the students of Huron. Please consider ordering and helping the PTO raise some "dough".

Want to get your poetry published? Submissions for this year's
44839: Poetry Contest will be accepted until the end of May and select winners have a chance to receive cash prizes and get their poems published in the next volume of the 44839: Poetry from a Zip Code anthology. Ages 17 and under can participate with parent/guardian permission. Find full rules for submission on

Check out a NEW Teen Book Box full of items to enhance your reading experience. Pick your book and then take it to the Circulation Desk to receive a box full of goodies associated with various parts of the story. Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom on Monday, May 23 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Earn service or volunteer hours by participating. Current members and new members are both welcome. Visit
