1. High School basketball cheer clinic & tryouts will be held at Woodlands on Monday, 10/25 and Tuesday, 10/26 from 3:30pm-5:45pm.
All forms must be completed in order to participate in the clinic and tryouts. Packets are available in the office.
2. Any student interested in registering for Spring '22 CCP courses, please set up an appointment with your BGSU advisor to make your course selections. Registration for CCP students begins at 7 a.m. on October 29. Stop into the counseling office if you have any questions.
3. Juniors & Seniors: The following colleges/universities will be visiting Huron High School in the student union. Please be sure to sign up in the school counseling office if interested in meeting with the college rep.
Tuesday, 10/26 - Baldwin Wallace 8:30am
Wednesday, 10/27 - Miami University 10:30am
Monday, 11/1 - Ohio State University 9:00am
4. St. Peter Spooktacular 5K & Kids Pumpkin Fun Run will take place Saturday, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. All work will be done before noon. Volunteers are needed to help with the race. Limited number of shirts available for volunteering. Contact Angie Edwards 419-366-1563 (call/text) to volunteer. Service hours will be given for this opportunity.
5. TEENtober is a NEW, nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October. In honor of TEENtober, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area. Stop by this week for a Snack Session (free snacks of course)!
Like writing? Write your part of the story for our Library collection with Huron Stories: Community Journals! Each journal has a special topic– including Pet Stories, Sketches, and even Something Scary. Read what others wrote, add your own entry, and then check out another one. Once a journal is full, it will be placed on our shelves for others to enjoy for years to come! All ages are welcome to participate. Find the display in the main lobby.
