4. Ashley Folger, RN at Firelands Regional Medical Center, will be our Future Friday’s speaker today. Come learn about careers in nursing.

5. Attention students interested in STEAM Club…
We are meeting today in Mr. Haplea’s room from 2:45-4:15 for Spinning Paint artwork and copper relief artwork.  Bring a friend, eat some candy, create some science infused art, and have a spooky time!

6. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
TEENtober is a NEW, nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October. In honor of TEENtober, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area. This week you can watch some nostalgic cartoons. Stop by the check it out!

Like writing? Write your part of the story for our Library collection with Huron Stories: Community Journals! Each journal has a special topic– including Pet Stories, Sketches, and even Something Scary. Read what others wrote, add your own entry, and then check out another one. Once a journal is full, it will be placed on our shelves for others to enjoy for years to come! All ages are welcome to participate. Find the display in the main lobby.
