1. LUNCH MENU: today-General Tso

2. REMINDER: If you are not at school before 8:00 or provide a medical excuse, you can not go to practice or participate in extracurricular activities.

3. REMINDER: If you are not buying breakfast in the morning, you are not to be in the cafeteria. Go to the auditorium.

4. Attention 8th grade volleyball players, please remember to turn in your jersey to Mrs. Wennes by the end of this week.

5. Attention Student Council members, please come to Mrs. Rowen's room during CNN News for a brief meeting.

6. Attention Student Council members who are on the t-shirt committee, we will meet today during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen's room.

7. Attention McCormick Junior Honor Society Members, there will be a meeting in the auditorium during 8th grade study hall today. Members should check in with their homeroom teachers prior to coming to the auditorium.

8. Monday - Wednesday, student council will be taking orders for treat bags. The cost is $1 each and may be purchased during 7th and 8th grade lunches. Treat bags will be delivered on Oct. 29th, so buy a treat for a friend, a staff member, or even for yourself.

9. The lost and found is located in the back of the auditorium. If you a missing something, please check there.

10. Attention 7th & 8th grade girls who are interested in playing basketball for McCormick. There will be an informational meeting during Study Hall on Tuesday, October 27 in the Auditorium. Tryouts will begin next week on Thursday, October 28th and Friday, October 29th from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the gymnasium. Please see Ms. Jackson or Ms. Taraschke if you have any questions

11. Junior High school basketball cheer clinic & tryouts will be held at Woodlands on Monday, October 25th and Tuesday, October 26th from 5:00pm to 6:15pm. All forms must be completed in order to participate in the clinic and tryouts. Packets are available in the office.

12. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
TEENtober is a NEW, nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October. In honor of TEENtober, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area. Stop by this week for a Snack Session (free snacks of course)!

Each journal has a special topic– including Pet Stories, Sketches, and even Something Scary. Read what others wrote, add your own entry, and then check out another one. Once a journal is full, it will be placed on our shelves for others to enjoy for years to come! All ages are welcome to participate. Find the display in the main lobby.
