1.  Jostens will be here today to meet with Seniors in the gymnasium at 11am to go over the ordering of caps/gowns and other graduation items.

2.  A representative from the Marines will be here during lunches in the cafeteria. Stop by their table to see what they might have to offer.

3.  Elections for homecoming court will take place this Wednesday, 9/15. Students will receive a link for the ballot in their email from Final Forms. If the email is not received, please contact Mrs. Sadowski to vote in person or through email.

4.  The Student Union is closed the rest of the week during periods 6 & 7.  If you have a study hall during these periods please report to the cafeteria.

5.  The Huron Parks & Recreation Department is looking for volunteers for the 2021 Pumpkin Festival which will be held October 9th.  Volunteers help with children activities, games and pumpkin painting and earn volunteer hours.  If you are interested, stop into the high school office to pick up a volunteer form from Huron Parks & Rec.

6.  The yearbook is holding a cover design contest for any high school student interested. The theme this year is "Welcome to the Jungle." The only guidelines are that "Huron High School", "2021-2022", and "Welcome to the Jungle" are all included within the cover design. Winner will receive a free yearbook and also be credited with the cover design. Honorable mention designs will also be included throughout the book. Deadline is Monday, September 20. To turn in, please see Mrs. Lee. 

7.  Ripcho Studio will be at HHS this Friday, 9/17, to photograph grades 9-11 for the yearbook.  Extra order forms will be available in the high school office.

8.  Parking tags for the 21-22 school year are on sale in the high school office.  Cost is $5.  

9.  Attention all Seniors in good standing:  You can apply to work the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2.  It is a long work day, but you would get paid $115 if accepted.  Please see Mrs. Merckens in room 214 for an application and with any questions.  Applications are due back this Friday, Sept. 17.
