1. Sophomores and Juniors:
The PSAT- an optional practice SAT and National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Huron High School. If you would like to sign up, please stop in the Counseling Office with $18 cash or check made out to Huron City Schools, and you will receive practice materials to prepare for the test.
2. Students - if you have yet to complete the survey from University of Connecticut, please take time to do so this week. This information will help us as a school to prepare you for your next stop in life. Don't delay!
3. Juniors & Seniors: The following colleges/universities will be visiting Huron High School in the student union. Please be sure to sign up in the school counseling office if interested in meeting with the college rep.

4. From the Huron Public Library:
TEENtober is a NEW, nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October. In honor of TEENtober, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area. This week you can watchsome nostalgic cartoons. Stop by the check it out!
Like writing? Write your part of the story for our Library collection with Huron Stories: Community Journals! Each journal has a special topic– including Pet Stories, Sketches, and even Something Scary. Read what others wrote, add your own entry, and then check out another one. Once a journal is full, it will be placed on our shelves for others to enjoy for years to come! All ages are welcome to participate. Find the display in the main lobby.
Looking for a way to spook up your October? Learn about some spooky local history in Body Snatching in Ohio on Tuesday, October 12 at 7 pm. Join us at the Library as we dissect the motives, uncover the victims, and unmask the perpetrators.
If you're looking for a more fast-paced classic game, join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, October 13 starting at 6:30 pm.
