1. LUNCH MENU: today-Chicken Quesadilla

2. 7th and 8th grade Academic Challenge members will meet today in room 207 during 8th grade lunch. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.

3. This Friday, Ashley Folger, RN at Firelands Regional Medical Center, will be our Future Friday’s speaker. Come learn about careers in nursing.

4. Attention students interested in FRIDAY STEAM Club…
We are meeting in Mr. Haplea’s room from 2:45-4:15 for Spinning Paint artwork and copper relief artwork.  Bring a friend, eat some candy, create some science infused art, and have a spooky time!
That’s this Friday from 2:45-4:15 in Mr. Haplea’s room.

5. Attention students who plan to attend the St. Pete’s Retreat: Your permission form must be turned in to our office prior to the absence. All absences must be approved so that your tests and homework may be made up. You are responsible for making up all missed work.

6. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
TEENtober is a NEW, nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October. In honor of TEENtober, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area. This week you can watch some nostalgic cartoons. Stop by the check it out!

Like writing? Write your part of the story for our Library collection with Huron Stories: Community Journals! Each journal has a special topic– including Pet Stories, Sketches, and even Something Scary. Read what others wrote, add your own entry, and then check out another one. Once a journal is full, it will be placed on our shelves for others to enjoy for years to come! All ages are welcome to participate. Find the display in the main lobby.

Looking for a way to spook up your October? Learn about some spooky local history in Body Snatching in Ohio on Tuesday, October 12 at 7 pm. Join us at the Library as we dissect the motives, uncover the victims, and unmask the perpetrators.

If you're looking for a more fast-paced classic game, join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, October 13 starting at 6:30 pm.
