Announcements - Thursday, May 20, 2021

1. Seniors please be sure to pick up a Senior Clearance slip if you have not done so already.  These are located in the high school office.   These must be turned in prior to graduation showing that you are free and clear of charges or school materials.

2.  Prom tickets are being sold during all 3 lunches through Friday. Tickets are $30 for a single or $50 for a couple. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend HHS, you will have to have paperwork filled out in order to purchase tickets.  This is outside the high school office.

 Prom is this Saturday from 8pm-10pm at Nickel Plate Beach.

3.  Any boy interested in playing soccer next year, there will be an informational meeting for parents and players at McCormick field on Sunday, May 23rd, at 5:00pm.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Asher.

4.  Attention all boys interested in playing Boys High School Golf this Fall.  There will be a short informational meeting directly after school in Coach King's room this Friday, 5/21.

5.  Kroger in Sandusky is looking to hire.  Please see fliers located around the school for more information.

6.  Students are reminded to return CCP books to the Counseling Department.

7.  The deadline to buy a yearbook for this school year is May 25. Visit Jostens.com to order your yearbook today!

8.  Seniors need to complete the Senior Survey in Google Classroom.  This survey provides information about your class and includes a place to indicate where you would like your final transcript sent.

 Also, while in Google Classroom, Seniors please fill out the Huron High School Alumni Association form to help us keep in touch with you after graduation.

9.  A reminder to students under the age of 18 - when you get hired by a business you will need a work permit.  These are located outside the high school office.  In order to process the work permit, you also need to have a physical - keep that in mind if you do not have a sports physical on file already in the office. See Mrs. Enderle with any questions.

10.  From the Huron Public Library:Find a new photo challenge on the Library's Instagram every Monday in May. Weekly challenges were created by the Teen Library Council.  Share a photo and use the hashtags #HPLweekly and #huronlibrary for a chance to win some gift cards to local eateries.
