1. LUNCH MENU: today-Bosco Sticks, tomorrow-Pepperoni Pizza

2. Junior Honor Society Officers: Reminder to get the scholarship review underway during your lunch/split study hall, or regular Study Hall. Your Scoring Rubric packet, and the envelopes of applications are on the cart just inside Mrs. Aber's door. They must be returned to Mrs. Aber following every session you work on them.

3. State Testing schedule:
Tuesday, May 4th and Wednesday May 5th:   7th and 8th Grade Math.  
Monday, May 10th:   8th Grade Science
Tuesday, May 11th and Wednesday, May 12th:   Algebra I 
Students are reminded to bring your CHARGED Chromebook and charger with you and to report to your homerooms/testing areas.  All testing will begin approximately at 7:40am, so please make sure that you get to class on time and again…..with your CHARGED Chromebook and charger.  

4. Reminder to Geometry students:
Wednesday, April 28th and Wednesday, May 5th:  DO NOT report to the high school for Geometry.  
May 10th:   8th grade Geometry students report to McCormick for Science testing.  
May 12th:   Report to HHS for Geometry test.

5. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Have artwork or photography to share? Visit the Huron Public Library's Online Community Art Gallery to view art and photography shared by your community, then share your own by emailing photos to [email protected]. All ages can participate.

The Library is collecting nonperishable, unexpired food items for our Pay It Forward Food Drive this spring. If you have food items at home that you'd like to donate, visit the Library and find our drop-off box located near the main entrance.

Check out a Read It & Watch Book Bundle while supplies last. Each bundle comes with a new or classic book paired with its matching film or TV show, along with some free movie candy and popcorn! There are bundles for all ages.

Teens with fresh ideas to share can join the next Teen Library Council meeting on Monday, April 26 at 4pm over Zoom. The TLC discusses programming and materials for teens and we always welcome new members!

Need a gift for Mother's Day? Register for our next Take & Make Craft for Adults (and teens) and pick up a Give Mom Some Love! Kit on Friday, April 30. Each kit comes with all the supplies needed to make mom a special gift. Call the Library or visit our website to register.

Each Monday in May will feature a new challenge designed by the Library's Teen Library Council. Challenge winners will be selected each week and will get some gift cards to local eateries.
