1.  Huge shout out to Mia Hurst who was named District Player of the Year. Also, congratulations go out to Caylin McCormick for being named to the District First Team and Addie Lacivita who earned Honorable Mention.  

2.  Congratulations to the 2023 District Swim qualifiers:Karlee Kurtz, Samantha Lesnak, Sydney Woodruff, Leah Cozzens, Maddie Porterfield,Gabe Schleenbaker, Scott Allen, Jason Lenczyk, TJ Murray, Jared Lenczyk, Carter Schlessman and Granthem Brown.  They will be joining divers Max Wasiniak, Kendal Towns and Peter Cencer at BGSU this week.

3.  The Navy will be here during lunch today.  Stop by their table if you'd like to learn more.

4.  Huron City Schools are looking for Summer Casual Labor - Workers to work alongside regular classified staff for summer projects relating to building consolidation. Assignments include Custodial, Grounds, Paint Crew, Technology, and Office/Secretarial. Work days will be Monday through Friday with flexibility to accommodate workers with extra-curricular or other commitments. No prior experience needed.
See the posting outside the high school office for more information.  Due date: March 31, 2023.

5.  Shawnee is looking for high school volunteers on Wednesday, February 15th from 6:15-7:30. Shawnee is hosting a game night for Kindergarten families and they are looking for students who can play games with the Kindergarten kids. The games are all created and ready to go.  Please see Mr. Lamb if interested.

6.  News from the Huron Public Library:
We  Our Patrons! The Library staff wants to do something special for our amazing patrons. Stop by the Library on Valentine’s Day and grab a few treats by the main Circulation Desk.

Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the Stitch Niche: Crochet Club for teens and adults. The next meeting is on today at 3 pm.

There is still time to register for February's Teen Cooking Challenge! This popular program for Grades 7 - 12 continues with new, delicious recipe kits to try at home. Pick up a kit on Wednesday, February 15. Register fast because supplies are limited.
