  • Today’s lunch is Crispy Chicken.

 

  • Students are not to cut through the gym and/or auditorium between classes.  Use the hallways to get to class.

 

  • 8th grade student council members will meet today during 8th grade study hall to work on the class of 2027 t -shirts.

 

  • STEAM Club will be this Friday in Mr. Haplea's room. Be there!

We meet from 2:45-4:15. Bring a pal.

 

  • This Friday, Gene Cappo, Owner/Sales, will be our future Friday’s presenter.  

 

  • Cheer tryout packets are now available in the office.  Football cheer tryouts for incoming 9th graders - 12th graders will be Monday, March 13 at HHS gymnasium starting at 430pm.   Please text coach Janet 419-366-1787 to receive the link for the tryout material.  

    Football tryouts for incoming 7th and 8th graders will be Tuesday, March 14th at HHS gymnasium starting at 430pm.

 

  • The 7th & 8th grade Band concert is on Tuesday, March 14th at 7pm.  The 7th & 8thgrade Choir concert is on Wednesday, March 15th at 7pm.

 

  • Friday, March 17th marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period.  Please make sure fees are paid and overdue library books are returned to avoid your grade card from being withheld.  Obligations pass on to the next school year.

 

  • The 2022/2023 McCormick Junior High School yearbooks can be ordered online at ybpay.lifetouch.com.  The online deadline to order a yearbook is April 13th.

 

 

  • FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood at the Huron Public Library on Sunday, March 12 at 1 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

 

March 14 is Pi Day! To celebrate, students that come to the Library after school can answer a few math questions and get some tasty snacks in return.

Love crocheting or want to learn how? Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the Stitch Niche: Crochet Club. The next meeting is on Tuesday, March 14 at 3 pm. Bring your own supplies or use ours. This club is for both teens and adults.
