  • Today’s lunch is Pizza.

 

  • On Monday, February 6th, there will be a meeting during your lunch period for any 7th or 8th grader interested in helping with the yearbook this year.  8th graders get your lunch first and then report to Mrs. Brown's room.  7th graders get your lunch first and then report to Mr. Maleski's room.  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Brown or Mr. Maleski.

 

  • On Monday, February 6, there will be a mandatory meeting for parents and students who plan to take College Credit Plus classes next school year for the first time. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the HHS cafeteria. Students currently taking CCP classes will be able to review the information on the CCP website following the meeting. Contact Mrs. James or Ms. Taraschke with questions.

 

  • There is a Huron Softball Clinic sponsored by the Huron High School Softball Team starting February 26th.  The cost is $35.00 and includes a T-shirt. If interested stop by the office for a flyer.

 

  • FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:

Have you participated in a previous Girls Who Code program at the Huron Public Library? Join the Girls Who Code Coding Ambassador Program to help new members learn about coding in a positive environment. Stop by the Youth Services Department at the Library if you're interested in helping out. Girls Who Code meet every Thursday until March. Attendance of every session is not required, but is highly encouraged. Registration required. 

 

Get warm at the Library this winter and play some Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Sunday, February 12 at 1 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

 

Pick your favorite adult and complete a craft with them this February with the Library's Adult & Me Activity! This special take & make craft offers age-appropriate kits for a child and an adult. Register for the child craft, the adult craft, or both to complete together! Kits are designed for kindergarten and up and available during operating hours on Monday, February 13. Registration required. 

 

Roses are red. Violets are blue. We've got a book that's just for you! Let the Library be your matchmaker with a Blind Date with a Book from Monday, February 13 until Saturday, February 25. Read the brief description to pick your date without seeing the book cover. There will be books for all ages.

 

We Love Our Patrons! The Library staff wants to do something special for our amazing patrons. Stop by the Library on Valentine’s Day and grab a few treats by the main Circulation Desk.
