  • Today’s lunch is corn dogs.
  • The 7th grade girls beat the previously unbeaten Port Clinton Redskins Tuesday night 27-25. Reece Hotz led the team with 10 points followed by Lizzie Perin with 8. It was a great team victory. 

    The 8th grade also beat Port Clinton 24-21. Jenna Cox had 10 points, Rylie Dehn 6, and Meredith James added 4. The tigers are back in action today at Willard.
  • This Friday, Ryan Forbes, Project Mechanical Engineer Manager, will be our future Fridays presenter.
  • There is a Huron Softball Clinic sponsored by the Huron High School Softball Team starting February 26th.  The cost is $35.00 and includes a T-shirt. If interested stop by the office for a flyer.
  • FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:

January 29 is National Puzzle Day. Stop by the Huron Public Library and select from a number of differently-sized puzzles to complete at home to celebrate. Get a puzzlepreview on Saturday, January 28! While supplies last. No registration necessary.

 

Like volunteering? Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Monday, January 30 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. This extra special meeting is the council's Winter Party! A simple application is all it takes to join. Stop by the Circulation Desk to grab one or visit huronlibrary.org.

 

Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the Stitch Niche: Crochet Club for teens and adults. The next meeting is on Tuesday, January 31 at 

3pm.

 

Have you participated in a previous Girls Who Code program? Join the Girls Who Code Coding Ambassador Program to help new members learn about coding in a positive environment. Stop by the Youth Services Department at the Library if you're interested in helping out. Girls Who Code meet every Thursday until March. Attendance of every session is not required, but is highly encouraged. Registration required. 

 

Get warm at the Library this winter and play some Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, February 4 at 10am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
