1.  Many seniors still owe their diploma paperwork.  Please get that turned into the high school office.

2.  The Sadie Hawkins dance will be Saturday, February 25th. It will be from 7-9 pm at Woodlands Intermediate School. The attire is homecoming style and exclusively black and red. 

3.  Volunteer opportunity: Shawnee School is currently looking for HHS students to help bubble in assessments for the 2nd Grade tests.  Please see Mr Lamb if interested.

4.  The Prom committee is looking for your song requests for Prom this year.  A paper is located in the office for you to stop by and write down any ideas you might have.

5.  Purchases from Domino's today will support the PTO, who directly fund numerous programs for the students of Huron.  Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help spread the word to raise some "Dough." 

6.  Health classes will be using the Student Union beginning Wednesday, 1/25, through Tuesday, 1/31. Those kids who use the student union for study hall, please report to Study Hall.

7.  News from the Huron Public Library: Play some Chess at the Huron Public Library with chess master Paul Sherwoood tonight at 6 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

Have you participated in a previous Girls Who Code program? Join the Girls Who Code Coding Ambassador Program to help new members learn about coding in a positive environment. Stop by the Youth Services Department at the Library if you're interested in helping out. Girls Who Code meet every Thursday until March. Attendance of every session is not required, but is highly encouraged. Registration required.

Sunday, January 29 is National Puzzle Day. Ages 3 and up can visit the Library and select from a number of differently-sized puzzles to complete at home to celebrate! Get a puzzle preview on Saturday, January 28. While supplies last.

Like volunteering? Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Monday, January 30 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. The extra special meeting is the council's Winter Party! A simple application is all it takes to join. Stop by the Circulation Desk to grab one or visit huronlibrary.org.
