1. If you were invited to apply for McCormick Junior Honor Society, the deadline to turn in applications and essays has been extended due to last week’s snow days. They are due to the office TODAY by 3:00pm. Applications will not be accepted beyond the deadline.
2. Current Junior Honor Society members need to turn in their posters for the showcase by TODAY.
3. Michele Butler is the Erie County Wildlife Officer and will be our Future Friday presenter this Friday.
4. Do we have STEAM Club this week? Yes! Yes, we do! Meet in Mr. Haplea’s room on Friday at 2:45 for STEAM Club.
5. Parent-Teacher Conferences are on Tuesday, February 22nd from 3:00-6:00pm and Thursday, March 3rd from 3:00-7::00pm. Parents should call the office to schedule a conference time.
6. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Due to COVID-19 conditions in Erie County and staff illness, the Huron Public Library is continuing our temporary operating hours for the months of February. Temporary operating hours are: Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 6 pm, Friday, 9:30 am - 5 pm, and Saturday 9:30 am - 2 pm. Please check our website and social media pages for updates.
Let us be your matchmaker this Valentine's Day! From Monday, February 14 to Saturday, February 26, visit the Library to find your Blind Date with a Book. Read the brief description and pick your date without seeing the cover. There will books for all ages!
Make a plan to stop by the Library after school on Monday, February 14 for our We Our Patrons event! The Youth Services Department will be setting out treats for our afterschool guests to enjoy.
