1.  The Caryl Crane Youth Theatre students from Huron High School, Bryce Nevison, Kelsey Swain, Caylin McCormick, Hunter Hoffman, and Eli Routh, participated in a National Theater competition last week. They performed exceptionally well, earning first place awards for 2 different group categories and 2nd place for overall show performance. Bryce Nevision also received first place honors for his Senior Solo. Great job to all involved!

2.  Seniors be sure to check Google classroom or the Counseling office for the Honor Diploma and Diploma of Distinction lists.  You'll have until the end of the day Tuesday, 2/22, to see Mrs. James or Mrs. Pisano with any questions or if you believe there is an error.

3.  Seniors:  The Class of 2022 HHS Local Scholarships Application is open until March 9, at 3:00 PM. All materials are available on your 2022 Google Classroom. Please stop in the Counseling Office if you have questions.

4.  Attention seniors! The deadline to email a senior picture to Mrs. Lee for the yearbook is Friday, February 25. Email: [email protected]

5.  From the Huron Public Library:
The Huron Public Library is continuing temporary operating hours for the month of February. Temporary operating hours are: Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 6 pm, Friday, 9:30 am - 5 pm, and Saturday 9:30 am - 2 pm. Please check our website and social media pages for updates.

There is still time to pick up a blind date from the Library! Find our Blind Date with a Book display, up until Saturday, February 26. Read the brief description and pick your date without seeing the cover. There are books for all ages!

The Library will be CLOSED for Presidents' Day on Monday, February 21. We will resume regular temporary hours on Tuesday, February 22.

Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom on Monday, February 28 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Earn service or volunteer hours by participating. Current members and new members are both welcome. Visit huronlibrary.org for all the details.
