WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS 


Good morning today is Monday, February 7, 2022 


The lunch menu for today is: Choice of Pepperoni Pizza or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You will also receive Broccoli, Pear Slices, Mini Rice Crispy Treat and Milk 



Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure that you recognize those students that are performing kind acts by completing a chain link for them. Remember KCR 24/7-365



Our value word for the week is: Kindness -  the quality or state of being kind



Harold Kushner once said, “When you are kind to others, it not only changes you, it changes the world.



The Woodlands Way - Positive Actions, Accepting K-C-R, Working to Succeed, and Stay Safe. Let’s make sure all our decisions are centered around the Woodlands Way. 



Today the 6th grade will be participating in a program titled Branching Out.  We will have several guest speakers in the building.  If you see someone new in the building please show them the Woodlands Way and welcome them and tell them thank you for sharing their time with us.  



Huron Public Library Tween & Teen Announcements for Week of Sunday, February 6


Let the library be your matchmaker this Valentine's Day! From Monday, February 14 to Saturday, February 26, visit the Library to find your Blind Date with a Book. Read the brief description and pick your date without seeing the cover. There will be books for all ages!


Make a plan to stop by the Library after school on Monday, February 14 for our We Love Our Patrons event! The Youth Services Department will be setting out treats for our afterschool guests to enjoy.
