1. LUNCH MENU: today-Meatball Sub

2. Student Council will meet today during 8th grade lunch in room 207. All members should attend.

3. Reminder: There is a scheduled 2-hour delay on Wednesday.

4. If you were invited to apply for McCormick Junior Honor Society, remember applications and essays are due this Friday by 3:00pm.

5. Parent-Teacher Conferences are on Tuesday, February 22nd from 3:00-6:00pm and Thursday, March 3rd from 3:00-7::00pm. Parents should call the office to schedule a conference time.

6. When was the last time you played your recorder? Do you want to donate it? Please help us collect recorders for the choir program at the Lutheran Church in San Salvador. Donations can be made through this Friday. Collection boxes are in the Band and Choir rooms.

7. Are you interested in taking college courses and earning both high school and college credit through Ohio's College Credit Plus program, also known as CCP? If so, Ms. T. and Mrs. James will be having a CCP Information night tonight at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be a virtual Zoom meeting. You can find the Zoom link on the Google Classroom for each grade. If you haven't added the Google Classroom page for Counseling yet, please see Ms. T. for an invitation. Please tell your parents/guardians about the informational session and we hope to see you on Zoom tonight.

8. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Due to COVID-19 conditions in Erie County and staff illness, the Huron Public Library is continuing our temporary operating hours for the months of January and February. Temporary operating hours are: Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 6 pm, Friday, 9:30 am - 5 pm, and Saturday 9:30 am - 2 pm. Please check our website and social media pages for updates.

Register to be part of the Tiny Art Show this spring with the Tiny Art Show kit from the Library! Art kits containing everything you’ll need to create your own mini art piece. Return your piece by Monday, February 28 so that we can open our miniature art gallery this April. This program is currently waitlisted, but add your name to be contacted when more supplies become available!

Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom on Monday, January 31 at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Earn service or volunteer hours by participating. Current members and new members are both welcome. Visit huronlibrary.org for all the details.

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, February 5 starting at 10 am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
