WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning today is Monday, November 7, 2022

The lunch menu for today is: Pepperoni Pizza or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You will also receive Broccoli,  Pear Slices, Rice Krispie Treat and Milk

Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.

Our value word for the week is: Courage -  the ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous

Winston Churchill once said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Students if you are asked a question in conversation, it is only polite to ask a question in return. If someone asks, “Did you have a nice weekend?” you should answer the question and then ask a question in return. For example: “Yes I had a great time this weekend. My family and I went shopping. What about you? Did you have a nice weekend?” Woodlands Students are polite and show others that they are just as interested in them as they are in you.

The lost and found already has several items in it. It is only going to grow as winter approaches.  If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.

Huron Public Library Tween & Teen Announcements

Help your neighbors before the holidays and lower your late fees with Food for Fines! During the entire month of November, fines for an overdue Huron Public Library item will be waived in exchange for each donation (one unexpired or non-perishable food item per overdue item). Feel free to donate even if you don’t have fines.
