1. Congratulations to the members of Caryl Crane Youth Theater who won the award of "Outstanding Production" at the Junior Theater Festival this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. A special shout out as well to Caylin McCormick who won an individual award for "Outstanding Performer". Amazing job!
2. The Huron swimmers and divers traveled to Oak Harbor over the weekend for the SBC championships. Competing in the Bay division, the girls finished 3rd and the boys finished 2nd.

The next competition for the Tigers is today vs Fremont Ross.
3. Seniors:
An informational meeting to explain the application process and submission deadline for the Huron Local Scholarships will be held on Monday, January 23, in the cafeteria. Seniors planning to continue their education after high school should plan to attend the 12:45pm meeting during 6th period on the 23rd. Parents are invited to attend at 7:00 pm on the same evening. Please see Mrs. James with any questions.
4. The Prom committee is looking for your song requests for Prom this year. A paper is located in the office for you to stop by and write down any ideas you might have.
5. News from the Huron Public Library:
Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the Stitch Niche: Crochet Club for teens and adults. The next meeting is on Tuesday, January 11 at 3 pm.
Have you participated in a previous Girls Who Code program? Join the Girls Who Code Coding Ambassador Program to help new members learn about coding in a positive environment. Attendance of every session is not required, but is highly encouraged. Registration required.
