1.  Attention all interested juniors and seniors who don't have a class with Mrs. Merckens right now, there will be a Marine Corps recruiter in Government classes on Monday, Dec. 5, and you can attend during your study hall.  Please sign up on the lists in room 214 or the counseling office by this Friday, Dec. 2.

2.  Beginning Monday, Student Council will be collecting items for Project Happy during lunch through December 13th. Bring toys, treats, school supplies, and other items small enough to fit in a shoebox. Each item will provide you an entry to win a $30 Chick-Fil-A gift card.

3.  Picture retakes with Ripcho Studio are today.

4.  The Tiger Swimmers took to the pool at Danbury last evening for a 5 team meet. The boys team went undefeated for the night while the girls team went 3-1. Top performers for Huron were:Gabe Schleenbaker

5.  This year's Spring Musical will be 'Seussical: The Musical!'. Auditions will be held BEFORE Winter Break on Dec. 13, 14, & 15th  in the high school choir room. Audition packets are available in the High School Office and sign-up sheets will be posted on the Choir Room doors. Please see Miss Jackson if you have any questions.

6.  Huron Public Library Teen Announcements:
Help your neighbors before the holidays and lower your late fees with Food for Fines! Until the end of November, fines for an overdue Huron Public Library item will be waived in exchange for each donation. Feel free to donate even if you don't have fines.

Looking for a great gift for a special someone? Look no further than the Library! The Friends of the Library are hosting a holiday Book Sale during the weekend of our Holiday Open House. The Book Sale will be held from 12 - 4:30 pm today; 1 - 4 pm on Saturday, December 3; and 1:30 - 4 pm on Sunday, December 4. Best of all, each donation directly supports the Library!

Join Library staff and the Board of Trustees for our annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 3 from 3 - 5 pm during the city of Huron's Winter Fest for music, refreshments, crafts, and more! The Library will be open from 12:30 - 5 pm to ensure that patrons can stay warm while they wait for the Winter Fest fireworks at 6 pm.

Play some Chess at the Library with chess master Paul Sherwood on Sunday, December 4 at 1 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
