1. Today’s lunch is delicious.

2. At the SBC Championships, the boys team placed fourth and the girls team placed second overall. Rylie Towns won with a personal best time. Other top performers were Claire Putman, Colette Steuk, Brynn Dennis, and Achilles Figueroa. Great job to all runners on a fantastic season!

3. Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams for winning SBC! Also, congrats to the 8th grade football team for winning SBC! All fall teams have worked really hard.

4. 8th Grade boys basketball try-outs will be held Monday Oct. 31st and Tuesday Nov. 1st. All players must have a current physical in the office by try-out date, no exceptions. Times will be announced. Any questions see Mr. Demos.

5. If you are interested in wrestling, there will be a brief meeting during study hall on Tuesday, October 18, in the auditorium. Please wait to be called down.

7. FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Check out TEENtober at the Huron Public Library this October! TEENtober is a nationwide celebration of tween and teen programs at the Library. Find a new activity after school each week during this month in the YA area. This week you'll find some tasty snacks!

The Teen Library Council is back in the Library building on Monday, October 24 at 4 pm. Teens in Grades 7 - 12 can share ideas to improve the Library and the community and help out with Library programming for volunteer hours. Visit huronlibrary.org for more details.  

The Library has a NEW Teen Tech Cart filled with cool tech like iPads and Chromebooks for teens in Grades 7 - 12 to borrow. Stop by after school on Wednesday, October 26 any time between 3 - 4:30 pm to try out some new tech like Spheros, Bloxels, digital instruments, sticker-makers, and more! This program will also feature the Library's button-making machine. Come hang out and make some free buttons!
